Last night was fun at first - choir practice good, pub afterwards good, impromptu pancake party at my Mark's place thoroughly excellent.

Then the last bus home ran out of petrol in West Preston Street, some knobend with a pierced lip decided to start spitting on the floor and kicked up a fuss when the driver told him to get off the bus, the police got called and it all got very messy. Finally got home about 00.45.

Strangely, I've become so chilled out recently that this didn't annoy me, I just sat there and was stoic about the whole thing. Didn't even get pissed off other than to go "tsk" a bit at the silly bus company policies (of not having fuel gauges on the buses, and instead filling them up with hopefully enough petrol at the start of each shift. They'd somehow ended up a few gallons short on this one.) Just went to bed and slept in.

Now, to do: design publicity for Edinburgh University tour, write to Paris jazz clubs and Eurodisney, finalise quote for Locrian Ensemble, get venue in Dublin for Canadian choir, fax back Spanish youth orchestra who want to come here, sort out stuff for a singer-songwriter from Manchester who wants to come up for the Fringe, and basically work...

Euterpe2
~Euterpe~
Your muse is Euterpe, the Giver of Pleasure.
Contrary to what I'm sure your mind has just
leapt to (get it out of the gutter!), she is
the muse of Music. Her symbol is the flute.
You like most kinds of music, and like to sing
and probably compose a little bit when you're
alone.

Which of the Nine Muses is your muse?

Is this official publicity for the film?

It's a spambot that's been running around LiveJournal. It picks out interests from your lists and pretends to be all interested in you as a human being so it can share with you how incredibly much this film has meant to its electronic heart.

Whether it was set up by the distributors or is just some poor fundy's woefully misguided attempt at evangelism, I don't know.

I know it's a spambot. I wondered who was running it.

No idea, have posted an appeal on a couple of Christian communities in the hope that whoever's running it will realise that it's actually dissuading people from seeing the film. No result so far.
