Remember that guy from choir that I mentioned? Well... er... tonight he gave me a lift home. And we kissed. For quite a while. In his car. Dalkeith has never seen anything like it (probably).

He's 43 and has just split up with his long-term (female) partner. It's the first time he'd ever kissed a guy, apparently. Um. So I'm not sure whether it's going to be a long-term thing or just something more casual (I don't like the idea of a casual relationship, but I could be persuaded...). He doesn't look or act 43, though, which is good.

Funny that, I thought I'd used up my snog quota for 2003 (one person each year since 1998) and suddenly it turns out I haven't. This may be a good year :)

for the record: 1998 - random French tourist in a minging club with the help of a packet of Polos (long story)
1999 - first proper boyfriend
2000 - drunken "straight" guy at a cast party
2001 - a guy at a wedding reception for two friends :)
2002 - an actor from the Edinburgh show I was in
2003 - a friend of a friend of a friend at a New Year party
Anyone who can guess any of these will get a prize, and my undying fear.

Otherwise - wrote a piece for string orchestra, it got workshopped and performed fairly well (could have done with more violins), and while it didn't win, people liked it. So it might get done sometime. Didn't do enough work, lots of stuff piling up, aaarrgh... night all :)
